Melodies escape from my lungs, and helplessly are caught by my tongue. Words are formed, Expelled from my mouth. The journey begins to bring other lungs, That want to open up and sing. We like to sing, To bring forth smiles. We like to sing... Listen close just open your ears; Secluding yourself away from other beings, Will never loosen up your fears. We like to sing, To bring forth smiles. We like to sing... We like to sing, Helping us get through the day; The joy melodies bring, Pushing negativity away. We like to sing To bring forth smiles, We like to sing Replacing cries...
2.
Keep me from slipping into woe, Please stay and help me smile; Regale with a tale of nights spent with ale, A friend at times... Take me to places where taverns are full of human joy; Song entwined within wine, Drink more and come alive. Voices linked with minds, Hearts easily unwind; Patrons content with their sight and scarcely question why. Why has no reason in matters of love, Love until you die...

Wanting More 04:33
Why are you afraid of letting go? Why do you hold back? Are you content but wanting more? Do both have a place within your heart? Can you connect with feelings burning through your skin, Or is connection severed on the way? Are elements preserved once they break through? Can they be recalled to make you cry? I withdraw into the skin in which I was born, For fear of feeling love and wanting more. Holding back I think that I am in control; As thoughts can’t protect me when a surge of feeling Starts the quest of wanting more.
4.
I must, counterbalance all of my thoughts, With meaningful retorts. I fear, my emotion burning to bright, Control lost to flight. How can I connect when I’ve detached myself for far too long? Can I feel through you? In amongst your mind, lies a deep response to human kind, Your heart justified. You fear, all emotion leaving your side, To feel, feels divine. Does life reduced to nothingness lead to unresponsiveness? Let fear be cast aside. You can be my conduit when I want to connect with life, Allowing me to feel through you.

Soporific 03:31
Rest now close your eyes, Quiet the voices inside. Sleep now becoming lost, Only for a while. Senses alert once more, The void has opened the door. Colours and shapes collide, Like nothing you have witnessed before. Restful mind has been, Even in the midst of your dreams. What has rested must return, To the place where colour can’t collide with shape anymore...
6.
Waltz 03:58
Imagine the threads of connection, Flowing through the air; Sparks that fly through conversation, Are qualified with smiles. Sparks lit alight by smiles, Threads of connection are tangled with words; Dancing together, enticing each other, To keep connection strong. Stories are told of love that begin with your eyes. It’s no surprise... ...that you are blinded, Unable to fathom the power of words; The sight of sirens is enough to over power you. Stories are told of love that begin with your eyes, Tales of visual beauty desensitise words from their sparks, and threads from their smiles. Listening to what you’re told, Will take out the magic conversation holds. Stories are told of love that begin with your eyes, Tales of visual beauty desensitise words from their sparks... And threads from their smiles...
7.
I’ve written songs with the pauper in mind But the pauper’s not mindful of me; Words to behold with the wisdom of gaze, Songs to be sung with pride. I’ve written songs with prince in my quill As the ink begins to dry; Truths about prince and the pauper transcend As the papers reaches eyes. Stories of pauper and prince are shared within heart; Synchronising sentiments, Whilst words set tales apart. Strip away diction and vocabulary. One tale remains of living ones dreams day to day.
8.
No Resolve 03:21
Wanting simple things from life I can’t seem to have, Stirring with an ocean of my troubles, currents try to hold me back. Raise your eyes to understand, close them if you just accept. Eyes will see what I project, not the fight inside. Friction tends to complicate, A simple life that cannot be.

Tallest Tree 04:49
So called truth conversing from entrusted mouths, Listening ears react no moments pause. Moments failing to provide the answers, From manna held inside entrusted minds. Suggestions maybe found within dreams. Magic coursing through my veins whilst touching skin; Pumping from my heart, Pulsing from within. Searching lands to find the tallest tree; Extracting wisdom from its roots, Directly into me.
